Today I will share with you how I made these super cute Christmas gift tags!
I am soooooooo excited because it is also my very first project on my new Silhouette CAMEO!!!!!!! I'd been dreaming of having this die-cutting machine for soooooooooo long, and I finally decided to give it to myself as a Christmas gift :)
I will write more about this awesome machine later, after all Christmas is just a week from today, so... let's get to business!
I designed these tags using the basic Silhouette software. I modified one of the tags that comes with the software and added these cute little snowflakes that I found on this amazing vector website http://all-silhouettes.com/. Using the "weld" tool of Silhouette, and reducing the spacing between the letters I made sure that I would have at least some of the letters cut to each other. That way I didn't have to glue each letter at a time.
Then I put my lovely Silhouette to work, using red and white 12 x 12 cardstock paper.
And... here is what I got!!!!!
Yay!!! It worked! This machine is amazing, it is sooooooo precise, these are 1/2'' x 1/2'' snowflakes!!!
Next, I glued things together added a little glitter here and there and...voila!
I guess for a first Silhouette project it went pretty well! Now just imagine where your creativity can take you from here...the sky is the limit! Thank you Silhouette I love you already!!!
